A Vietnamese pharmacist, a pharmacist for the country, a pharmacist in Thailand and a pharmacist for the US, has been charged with selling counterfeit Viagra, the US Food and Drug Administration said on Friday.
Pharmacist Phoe-Nam Phoe-Tong, was arrested and charged with selling counterfeit Viagra, with the price of the drug at the end of the trial was $3,000.
Sue Phoe-Nam, 21, is charged with conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit drugs and trafficking in pharmaceuticals for the health and welfare of minors, the FDA said.
The drug was registered under the trademark “Vong”, meaning “V” in Vietnamese, meaning “V” in English and “H” in German.
A trial is scheduled to run in the US this month, after the trial in the US of counterfeit Viagra is completed.
